Okay, so most of my day was spent in Venice and downtown.
The Standard had some event that my friend and I originally thought was at the Hollywood location, but really it was at the downtown location. Of course, we didn't realize this until we paid $10 for parking on Sunset.
I vow to buy a bus pass and try not to drive my car. Ever again.
It's funny how people flock to such hotels as The Standard. The rooftop has a pretty amazing view, but really, how many people have been in those pods? The valet man was nice as he let me park even though I didn't actually have enough money to pay the charge.
