Today I bought a wedding present and the best jeans ever! And I got noodles with my friend Tim.
We went to this place in Little Tokyo that is open until 3 AM!
I love Little Tokyo. Tim drove but I directed because he, like many Angelenos, really doesn't know how to navigate himself and a vehicle to a known destination in downtown LA. I, luckily, am pretty good at that, mainly because I have made myself walk here and there downtown. And I used to intern for Villaraigosa and had to walk to City Hall from a far-away parking lot once a week. It's funny, I feel like I know every other city I have visited much better than LA just because I have spent more time walking in other cities (out of necessity) than in Los Angeles. Which is WHY we should all walk and take the bus as often as possible! So we aren't stupid in our own city; so we can FIND Little Tokyo!
I orded Ramen with pork wontons and it was super yummy, but whenever I order ramen I half-expect and hope even that it is going to taste like Top Ramen. I know this is silly, but I really like Top Ramen.
